Today I found out a friend will be leaving this plane of existence far sooner than he should. My heart was heavy all day. It was very hard to focus on the work at hand, to even think at times. Knowing this special person loved the art I humbly create, I tried to focus my thoughts and carry on as best I could. It was not an easy thing to do. I know that is what he would want me to do.

My art documents memories for him. It was never about the “collecting”. It was about the memories. I hope each day he’s able to look at one of those posters and remember the good times. I hope it puts a smile on his face and in his heart.

Garth, I’m so very happy our paths crossed. My life has been richer because of it. I’m glad and honored to call you “friend”. I’m going to miss you on JC this year. I promise to share a toast to you among a boatload of friends.

Today has been especially trying for one who has chosen the path of peace and compassion. He chose a lifestyle and mindset he tries his best to practice each day his spirit resides in this body on this earth.

Today has been tough. Today his beliefs will tested. Today he will question himself. Today he will struggle with his feelings of rage, anger and vengeance.

Today two people’s spirits and lives to whom he has never met or known have brought him to question and deeply ponder his core beliefs. In one manner, he has known them since he started walking this path. They are extended family. They are one with him, thus the pain he feels is as deep as the loss of any family member.

Today the true test is how the world will walk through the fire. May Naomi’s and Alan’s spirits guide those decisions. May peace and compassion triumph in this world gone mad.

Today has been tough. We lost two of the people that the world needs most at this time.

Naomi and Alan you will be in the thoughts, prayers and meditations of the world. Know that your short time on this Earth made it a better place.

Saxby Chambliss is an old school George Bush Republican who sold out the people of Georgia to whom he supposedly represents by voting in favor of the Bail Out plan. He voted for the plan knowing that over 90% of his constituents did not approve.

He was elected to be our voice. He has let us down by voting against our will. Let’s vote this moron out of office.

I have nothing to post on this beyond saying that America’s financial problems are coming home to roost. Sadly, “we the people” will wind up paying the bills for others greed.

I’m beyond sad that we lost a very special visionary musician. Rick Wright, keyboard magician for Pink Floyd and original co-founder of the band, passed away yesterday from a brief battle with cancer.

Thank you Rick for the wonderful legacy of music you have left us to cherish. Shine On Brother.

I lost a dear friend today. Pelo, my beloved grumpy little chihuahua, I will miss you dearly. The studio will miss your presence and the Grandmother has lost her best friend. Rest in peace little man.

Red Rocks has been a place where people have gathered for thousands of years to particpate in spiritutal rituals. I now know why.
